HI, My name is Pamela Topjian. I am a house, and pet sitter providing overnight care in Roseville, and close surrounding areas of northern California. I stay in your home the whole time you’re away, so that the only change for your fur (feathered, or scaled) family member is the human that’s caring for them while you’re away. *Please read the highlighted text below.

What sets me apart:
I stay the whole time that you’re away. I’m there to ease your mind, keeping them safe, happy, healthy, and well loved. I have a special place in my heart for elderly and special needs pets.
Not to mention, your home isn’t left empty. I am insured (scroll to bottom of page, for insurance badge) as well, so you can have peace of mind and enjoy your vacation, or focus on the trip, whatever the reason.
I have no breed or size restrictions. No extra charge for medication administration, waste clean up, bringing in mail/packages, or plant care. I charge a flat fee of *$90 per night, for up to two pets, $10 extra each additional pet. For house sitting alone without pets, the fee is $50 a night. (*these prices good through Dec. ’24 )
I do not do check-ins/drop-ins, or dog walking off the property. I provide care for one family at a time. I won’t leave on other jobs while you’re away. As a former nurse, now a certified hypnotherapist, I work remotely via phone, or zoom. I make my own schedule, so I’m able to work from anywhere. (However I usually schedule my hypnotherapy clients between pet sits while I’m home) I am mature, responsible, and respectful – unlike the teenage neighbor .
Experience:
Over 10+ years I have had the honor to care for pets through volunteering at animal shelters, fostering sheltered dogs, helping them find good homes. Long term pet, and house sitting, as well as shorter term off and on for 10+ years.
The last 7 years (other than 2020) I’ve been busy pet/house sitting just through referrals. Starting 2021 when I left nursing, I was able to offer strictly overnight house/pet sitting and stay for the duration of your trip. I love it so much! I decided to get my own house/pet sitting insurance, joined PSI (Pet Sitters International) to continue pet safety, first aid, CPR and behavior education. I require an initial meeting (AKA; Meet & Greet) in the home where I will be staying, with pets present, before any job is accepted. I book up to a year out. The sooner we can get you on the schedule the better. I stay very booked, therefore, I like to schedule our meet and greet as soon as possible, and then meet again closer to the date if it’s more than a month out.
